Anglo Italian Pet Architecture

Just been browsing this week’s Design week and came across an interesting article on ‘Pet Architecture’ in Tokyo.
‘Pets, companion animals of the people, are usually small, humorous and charming. We find what we could call “Per Architectur”, architecture having pet like characteristics, existing in the most unexpected places within the Tokyo city limits…’
If you didn’t see the article read it here.
Its being led by an Anglo Italian practice in Tokyo called Klein Dytham, who display a really interesting body of work. They’ve even plugged the google maps api into their site! (how friggin tech am I!)
I love the banner at the bottom of the site ‘Refreshingly Flash Free’

I came across Klein Dytham Architecture while I was researching my library project on the MA course last year, they collaborated with Interactive Arts Super Megastar “Toshio Iwai” (wikipedia entry) on ICE for Bloomberg, this is in case you missed it on their site.
